This Policy describes how ZapM3 (“we”) collect and use information when you use zapm3.com and our rental services.

Information we collect

Account / identity: Tesla OAuth identifiers (subject), email when provided.
Booking: vehicle VIN, rental dates, rates, receipts, and related ops status.
Contact: phone number if you opt in to SMS; email for invites and receipts.
Vehicle telemetry: operational signals (e.g. odometer, FSD miles) needed to operate the rental and produce receipts.
Technical: IP address, user agent, and consent timestamps for security and A2P compliance records.

How we use information

To provide rentals, authenticate you, send transactional email/SMS you opted into, unlock/share vehicles for your trip, calculate receipts, prevent fraud/abuse, and comply with law.

SMS

If you check the SMS consent box, we use your phone number to send infrequent rental-related texts. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. We retain consent records (phone, timestamps, IP/UA) as required for messaging compliance.

Sharing

We share data with service providers as needed to operate the service (e.g. Tesla APIs, hosting). We do not sell personal information.

We do not sell or share you SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention

We keep rental, consent, and audit records for operational, legal, and compliance purposes, then delete or anonymize when no longer needed.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and monitoring appropriate to a small rental operation. No method is 100% secure.
